"Individual Counseling concerning specific treatment objectives, for a limited number of visits. Consumer Support Services assist consumers who have demonstrated a lack of capacity to access needed medical, social, education and other services. Core elements of consumer support services are assessment, service plan development, linking/coordination of services, reassessment/follow-up, and monitoring of services. Children's Home Bases Services are intensive services to individuals and families with multiple service needs who require access to a continuum of mental health services. The primary goals of these programs are to promote normal development, promote healthy family functioning, support and preserve families, reunite families who have been separated, and reduce the usage of, or shorten the length of stay in psychiatric hospitals and other substitute care settings. The family unit is the focus of treatment. The service style empowers families emphasizing assertive intervention, parent and professional teamwork and community involvement with other service providers. Psycho social Rehabilitation Clubhouse is an array of consumer directed and professionally provided supports for individuals with serious mental illness. These programs are founded on the principles of consume choice and active involvement in the operation of various aspects of the program (e.g. clerical unity, food unit, maintenance unit) and delivery of services. The program provides both formal and informal structures through which consumers can influence and shape program development. Services are provided during an "ordered day." The setting is purposefully informal to reduce the psychological distance between staff and consumers. Residential Treatment is a more restrictive level of care than outpatient services. Services consistent with consume needs are provided in a licensed residential setting (requiring 24 hour supervision), frequently in addition to other services, and most often on a transitional basis. Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) teams provide a wide array of services to seriously mentally ill consumers which are designed to help support independent community living, or the transition to independent community living from more restrictive levels of care. Services include assistance with addressing basic needs, such as food, housing and medical care. Other services are provided by the team, which supports improved functioning in regard to social, educational and vocational skills. Inpatient Treatment (hospitalization) is provided for consumers experiencing serious mental illness who are dangerous or unable to take care of their basic needs."
